Usability Testing Milestone for BIPED

12-13 January 2026 marked an important step forward for the BIPED project. Over these two days, partners gathered in Aarhus — both in person and online — to help shape the framework for one of our key milestones.

At the heart of the event was a hands-on session with BIPED’s local PED community. Local actors from Brabrand, including private companies, citizens, representatives from Aarhus Municipality, and even colleagues from other municipalities, joined us to test the first solutions. Their insights and feedback are invaluable as we continue developing tools and approaches that truly reflect local needs and opportunities.

With their computers, participants logged in to the BIPED platform to test:

  • How easy the platform is to navigate?

  • Whether the features work as expected?

  • Where the design and user-friendliness can be improved?

  • Where and for what you can use it?

We captured their first impressions, and then guided them through a task-based usability test. This structured approach gave us clear insights into what works well and where we can improve.

A huge thank you to everyone who participated. Your engagement made it not only a productive milestone, but a genuinely inspiring moment for the project.

It was a great day — and an important one for BIPED’s journey ahead.
