BIPED is an EU Horizon Europe project focusing on intelligent Positive Energy Districts (PEDs), which are districts that generate as much renewable energy as they consume. The project’s pilot city is in Aarhus, Denmark. At the heart of the solution is a Local Digital Twin (LDT) that helps cities to plan, simulate and make decisions.
During the webinar, the team will present the digital twin platform and invite participants to ask questions and share their use cases, as well as engage in a real conversation about the suitability of local digital twins for positive energy districts in cities beyond Aarhus.
Three reasons to join, depending on where your interest sits:
Local Digital Twins → a concrete use case of an LDT tackling energy and climate-neutrality goals
Positive Energy Districts → how a digital twin supports PED design and decision-making
LDT4PED → how both solutions reinforce each other in practice
This will be an interactive session, so please bring your questions and a colleague.
