BIPED Going To The Smart City Expo World Congress

BIPED will be joining the OASC booth at the Smart City Expo World Congress 2025 to showcase its Positive Energy District (PED) work in Aarhus, Denmark.

The city has designated Brabrand as a testbed for PED development, bringing together a vibrant community of local energy actors, industry representatives and policymakers. This multi-stakeholder engagement is a key building block of the BIPED strategy to make the Brabrand district energy-positive.

An important technical enabler of this work is the use of Digital Twins. At the booth, BIPED will demonstrate how digital twin technology supports PED-oriented energy planning — from assessing solar PV potential to estimating energy demand based on building occupancy data.
