BIPED Modelling Methodology Presented at PhD Summer School

This week in Fredericia, Denmark, DTU Compute organised another edition of its PhD Summer School.
At one of the lectures, Tobias Rønlev-Knudsen presented hierarchies for heat load forecasting. Some use cases were based on data from Center Denmark and methodologies developed in BIPED for Gellerup, a neighbourhood in the Brabrand district of Aarhus earmarked for PED development.
Henrik Madsen who has coordinated all Summer Schools said the focus of these events is as much on teaching and knowledge transfer as it is on cross-border replicability (city-to-city). To this end, several meetings were organised with Fredericia Municipality to discuss the relevance of Aarhus results, while Fredericia reps also attended some of the lectures.
